Hey everyone!!! Just popping on whilst on vacation at our cabin on Lake Erie because I had to show you the incredible sale going on today at Scrap Matters! It’s Christmas in July and if you are in the North East like me… you are wishing for a break from this 100 degree heat wave we are in… now I know you are thinking ‘Arizona has heat like this all the time!’ TRUE! But add into that our lovely humidity and it’s like a KILLER! Sigh…. so I am feeling Christmas in July!

Where have I been?

Well, to be short and sweet… VERY BUSY! I am working multiple jobs (that probably all add up to one full time job), but I love them all too much to leave any of them! I have also be scrapping the nights away for my creative teams. I had no clue I missed scrapping (like regularly) so much when I was designing! So now I have tons of pictures to catch up with! I am really lucky to be on the teams I am on.

But yet…. still I am a slacker because I said I was going to start posting my layouts here and I haven’t! SHAME SHAME SHAME!!

Here I am though, to say YAY I am a guest this month for Lyndsay Riches and I am PUMPED! She has a new collab out with Laura of simply.scraps called 2 Peas in a Pod and here is a cutie I created with this little number!

Hi everyone. Well this is something I have been putting off for a week or so. I have decided to close up my shops and take a break from designing. I have some mixed emotions about it, but I know it’s the best thing for me right now.

There are a few reasons, but the majority of them stem from how much time I spend on my computer on a daily basis. I love designing but lately the competition has begun to get to me. I have started questioning my style wondering if I should ‘change me’ to sell more, and that doesn’t make sense. I have to be me, right? The second reason is that I have really gotten away from scrapping my own youngsters, and I want to get these moments on paper for when they grow up. I love looking back at my four year olds books already, and I am way behind on them now, and just beginning my two year olds books.

Ok, enough sad drama! I don’t know if I will be back… that is entirely possible. But for now both my Inspiration Lane and my Scrappity-Doo-Dah shop will be closing up in a few days.

It’s been awhile…..

It’s been awhile since I have posted, and I apologize for that. I have been on a small hiatus for the holidays. It was WONDERFUL, I have still been designing, of course, but I have also been spending some great times with my family. My daughters pre-school was off, so we did some great crafts and played new games! She goes back tomorrow, and I am a little sad about it. She only goes three half days, but the fact that it is January 2010 means that in only nine short months my little girl will be starting Kindergarten…. WHAA!!! I am already tearing up over it. I printed the pre-registration form the other day, and sobbed like a child. I do not know how I am going to be able to walk her to the bus stop, put her on the bus and let her go…… but I am going to have to do it. WHAAA!!!!
