News from me

Hi everyone. Well this is something I have been putting off for a week or so.  I have decided to close up my shops and take a break from designing.  I have some mixed emotions about it, but I know it’s the best thing for me right now.

There are a few reasons, but the majority of them stem from how much time I spend on my computer on a daily basis. I love designing but lately the competition has begun to get to me. I have started questioning my style wondering if I should ‘change me’ to sell more, and that doesn’t make sense. I have to be me, right? The second reason is that I have really gotten away from scrapping my own youngsters, and I want to get these moments on paper for when they grow up. I love looking back at my four year olds books already, and I am way behind on them now, and just beginning my two year olds books.

Ok, enough sad drama! I don’t know if I will be back… that is entirely possible. But for now both my Inspiration Lane and my Scrappity-Doo-Dah shop will be closing up in a few days.

I want to take a minute now to thank everyone for making this experience so wonderful. I really met so many kind-hearted, sincere people since I began this journey two years ago (OMG, I can’t believe it’s been that long). I wouldn’t have lasted this long if it it weren’t for you guys!
